Air Fills
If you need gas, we’ve got it. Our friendly staff provide high quality air fills (up to 300 bar) on demand during shop opening ours. We have a large capacity air compressor and bank storage system, meaning even in the busy summer weekends we can get your tank filled and you into the water. Please allow up to 15 minutes to ensure your cylinder is filled to its rated capacity.
Our gas pricing is as follows:
- Air Fills: $9/$7 club members
- Air Card (20 fills): $130/$120 club members
- Hydro Test: $50
- Nitrox – up to 40%: $15 per cylinder (> 40% per litre of O2 + air fill)
- Oxygen: $0.04 per litre
Nitrox *
We do provide nitrox in both standard mixes (EAN32 & EAN36) and custom blends up to and including 100% oxygen. We use a partial pressure blending technique and can either top off or blend into an empty cylinders. Due to partial pressure blending method, which involves 100% oxygen at some stage, cylinders must be oxygen clean.
The following certification requirements are required for nitrox fills:
- Up to 40% – standard nitrox
- > 40% – advanced nitrox or closed circuit rebreather
Closed-Circuit Rebreathers & Boosted Oxygen *
We are definitely a CCR friendly shop and can provide boosted oxygen fills up to 200 bar. Other CCR consumables such as sorb and cylinder hire are also available.
* Due to the skill set required to partial pressure blend nitrox and boosting oxygen, please allow 24 hours for a fill or pre-arrange a time for cylinder filling.
Trimix
At present we do not typically stock large quantities of helium. Trimix is only available by special request and is blended to your requirements. All helium used is high or ultra-high purity, no balloon gas is used.
The following certification requirements are required for trimix fills:
- Down to 18% oxygen – normoxic/basic trimix
- < 18% – hypoxic/advanced trimix
